Brachypelma emilia / Mexican Redleg Female

The emilia is absolutely gorgeous species in the Brachypelma genus. These beauties have orange-red striping on black legs, as well as an orange-red carapace with distinctive black V mark, complemented with reddish light setae on their jet black abdomen. They are found in the dry arid scrubland of Central Mexico, as such they can be kept on the dry side. They are incredibly docile and are a perfect tarantula for the beginner, who is looking for a colorful species to add to their collection. Like all Brachypelma species they are long living, very hardy, easy to keep and make a beautiful display tarantulas, adult females reaching 6”+, don’t pass these up!
