The E. uatuman comes from the tropical rainforests of Brazil, where they are found in deep moist burrows on the forest floor, typically under rocks and heavy vegetation. As with most species in this genus, they require moist soil and high humidity to do well in captivity. Adult females are emerald green with shades of olive on the legs. They are beautifully complimented with a bright metallic gold abdomen. As with most species in this genus, they can be considered fast and defensive; reaching 4”.
